(i) In myopia, the Curvature of the comea and eye%lens increases due to this converging power of lens remains large.
(ii) Also the eyeball elongates so that the distance between the lens and retina increases.
(iii) A suitable concave lens is so chosen that it creates required divergence, hence after convergence by eye lens sharp image of the distant object is formed on the Ratina and the defect is corrected.
