A seminar on strengthening mental flexibility was held in our school on July 29, 2020. Two experts were invited to talk and Interact on the said topic. They were Mr. Shridharan, a wellness expert and Shyamali Subodhini, a yoga teacher. 300 students from about 10 schools along with two teachers from cach school were invited to attend the seminar. It was held in the amphitheatre of our school. On the huge stage our principal, vice-principal and the two experts took their seats. The wellness expert gave a thought provoking talk on how to keep fit, how to relieve stress and how to strengthen emotional well-being. He told very clearly that our mind, emotions and body are closely Interlinked and always work together. so we are supposed to balance them by all means. He gave certain tips in this regard like stop overthinking perform self-hypnosis, do screen exercises, anticipate success, etc. The Yoga expert Shyamall talked about breathing exercises and meditation. She suggested certain unique ways for breathing exercises like: Give your brain Oxypen bit. The crown pull, Mental quick fixes and so on. They also presenter demonstration to explain the things better. They announced, open forum for resolving querries of students and teachers if any. It was really a motivational seminar. The students applauded their speeches with great cheers. The principal thanked the guests warmly.
