Question
An electron is not deflected while passing through a uniform magnetic field. What is the direction of magnetic field?

Answer

Direction of magnetic field is either in the direction of motion of electron or opposite to it. Hence, $\theta=0^{\circ}$ or $180^{\circ}$ and therefore, $F = eVB \sin \theta=0$. So it will not be deflected.
