Check the equation is quadratic equation or not:$ (x + 2)^3 = 2x(x^2- 1)$

We have the following equation,
$(x+2)^3=2 x\left(x^2-1\right)$
$\Rightarrow x^3+8+6 x(x+2)=2 x^3-2 x$
$\Rightarrow x^3+6 x^2+12 x+8=2 x^3-2 x$
$\Rightarrow x^3-6 x^2-14 x-8=0$
Cleary, It is not in the form of $ax ^2+ bx + c =0$.
Therefore, it is not a quadratic equation.
