✓
Answer
Structure of Ovule or Megasporangium : Many small oval structures are found inside the ovary of the pistil. These structures are called ovule or megasporangium. The ovule is a small structure attached to the placenta by means of a stalk called funicle. The body of the ovule fuses with funicle in the region called hilum. Its main body is made up of living parenchyma cells which is called nucellus. Usually the nucellus is surrounded by one or two covers which are called integuments. The outer cover is called outer integument and the inner cover is called inner micropyle. The base part of the ovule is called integument. There is a hole at the top part of the ovule which is called chalaza. There is an embryo sac in the nucellus near the micropyle.
