Although the food problem has been solved by increasing the food supply through the Green Revolution. This increase in production is due to the use of improved varieties, better management systems and use of agrochemicals (fertilizers and pesticides). But the use of chemicals and fertilizers is an expensive process and also has harmful effects on the environment. Therefore, now farmers will be able to produce more by using genetically modified crops. These crops require less use of fertilizers and chemicals and also have less harmful effects on the environment.
