Evans the prisoner at HM prison, Oxford was giving his o-Level German Exam but it didn’t go on as scheduled but was completed with a fifteen minutes delay. The exam was to begin at 9:15 am but there was a delay because, after the invigilator gave Evans some general instructions about the paper, Evans objected to Stephens’ presence in the cell by saying that he couldn’t write with someone breathing down his neck. The Governor ordered Stephens to leave the room and the exam finally began at 9:25 am. At 9:40 am there was an interruption as there were some corrections needed, in the question paper. At 10:25 Evans complained that he was feeling cold and wanted a blanket round his shoulder. At 11:25 the exam was over and after McLerry’s departure, Evans cell door was shut.
