Grasses are dominant within non-graminaecous herbs mostly legumes, scattered bushes in grassland e.g., pampas of South America, steppes of Eurasia.
Difference between Grassland & Savanna : Grassland occures in all types of climates whereas savannah is found in warm climate. Trees are absent in grassland but present scatteredly in savannah. Rainfall is low in grassland but more in savannah.
