Difference between Metallic and Non- Metallic minerals
  1. Metallic minerals contain metal. Non-metallic minerals do not contain metals.
  2. Metallic minerals found in igneous rocks whereas sedimentary rocks may contain both metallic & non metallic minerals.
  3. Iron-ore, Manganese, Copper, lead, Bauxite etc. are the example of Metallic minerals. Mica, Salt, Potash, granite marble sandstone etc. are the example of non metallic minerals.
