Differentiate the following functions w.r.t.x. : $\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}$

& \text { Let } \mathrm{y}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}} \\
& \therefore \mathrm{y}=x^{\frac{-1}{2}}
\end{aligned}
$
Differentiating w.r.t. $\mathrm{x}$, we get
$
\frac{\mathrm{d} y}{\mathrm{~d} x}=\frac{-1}{2} x^{\frac{-3}{2}}=\frac{-1}{2 x^{\frac{3}{2}}}
$
