Question
Diffrentiate the following w. r. t. x.
$\sin ^4\left[\sin ^{-1}(\sqrt{x})\right]$

Answer

$\text { Let } y =\sin ^4\left[\sin ^{-1}(\sqrt{x})\right]$
$=\left\{\sin \left[\sin ^{-1}(\sqrt{x})\right]\right\}^8$
$=(\sqrt{x})^4= x ^2$
Differentiating w.r.t. x, we get
$\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{d}{d x}\left( x ^2\right)=2 X$
