The organised sector: Consist of all units employing 10 or more people throughout the year. These have to be registered with the government to ensure that their employees get suitable salaries or wages, pension and other benefits.
The unorganised sector: The unorganised sector or informal sector over 90% of the work in agricultural, industry or services. Though the government has laws to monitor conditions in the unorganised sector yet in practice the employees are left to the whims of the employer or contractor.
