Distinguish between primary and secondary sectors by stating three points.

(i)
It covers activities that are under- taken by directly using natural resources.
It covers activities in which natural prod ucts are changed into other forms through ways of manufacturing that we associate with industrial activities.
(ii)
It uses natural resources.
It uses man-made products.
(iii)
Since most of the natural products we get are from agriculture, dairy, fishing, forestry so this sector is also called agriculture and related Sector.
Since this sector gradually became asso- ciated with different kinds of industries that came up, it is also called as industrial sector.
(iv)
Example: Dairy, cultivation, mining of mineral ores, fishing, forestry, etc.
Example: Sugar or gur is manufactured from sugarcane, and bread from wheat.
