Evaluate the following, using distributive property. $68 \times (-17) + (-68) \times 3$

Answer

$68 \times (-17) + (-68) \times 3$
$= 68 \times (-17) -68 \times 3$
Taking $68$ as common, $68 \times (-17) -68 \times 3 [\because a \times b + a \times c = a \times (b + c)]$
i.e using Disteibutrive proprty $= 68 \times (-20) = -1360$
