$\frac{3}{4} \text { of } 1 \frac{1}{2} \div 4 \frac{1}{2} $
$=\frac{3}{4} \text { of } \frac{3}{2} \div \frac{9}{2} $
$=\frac{9}{8} \div \frac{9}{2} \ldots . . \text { (first remove 'of') } $
$=\frac{9}{8} \times \frac{2}{9} $
$=\frac{1}{4}$
