India is blessed with a variety of natural resources that too in large quantity.
A very large variety of raw material is available from these resources.
India has vast forests, a very long coastline, good weather and a large workforce.
All these factors together make India a very wealthy nation.
However, our workforce is not capable enough to capitalize these resources. People lack education, training and skills to utilize these resources for generating employment.
Moreover, India's defective planning since years and lack of focused approach for welfare of people has not helped to remove poverty.
All these factors have kept India poor and hence it is said that the poor live in wealthy india.’
