If we look carefully at the floor walls and ceiling of any building, then a particular inclination is visible in the corners of the floor and walls.

If we look carefully at the hour and minute hands of a wall clock at exactly 3 o'clock and exactly 9 o'clock, we find that they are standing on each other in the same way as we saw between the floor and the walls. This special inclination is called a right angle.
Therefore, such an angle (inclination) between two planes or lines is called a right angle. It is expressed by
