Explain the definition of prejudice.

The word prejudice is derived from the Latin word "praejudicium" in which "prae" means "before" and "judicium" means "judgement before hand."Psychologically also it can be said that prejudice is predetermined negative attitude. It is true about negative attitude that it lacks sufficient experience or evidences. As prejudice is practised in an aggressive manner, it is harmful for the society.
