- Two longitudinal folds of dssue called labia majora form the boundary of the vulva. It also covers two additional folds of tissue called the labia minora.
- Rapid secredon of LH leading to its maximum level during the mid-cycle is called LH surge' It induces rupture of Graafian follicle and thereby the release of ovum, i.e. ovulation.
- The trophoblast layer then gets attached to the endometrium and the inner cell mass differentiates inro the embryo. After attachment, the uterine cells divide rapidly and cover the blastocyst.
