Homopolymers: Polymers whose repeating structural units are derived from only one type of monomer units are called homopolymers. Ex : – Polythene (prepared by using only one type of monomer i.e. ethene)
Elastomers: The polymers that have the elastic character like rubber are called elastomers.
Elastomers are soft & stretchy used to make rubber bands.
Ex: Neoprene, Vulcanized rubber etc.
