✓
Answer
The outer layer of the roots is called root epiblema on which there are unicellular hairs, these are called root hairs. Cuticle and epidermis are absent. The cortex is parenchyma and endodermis is clear. The vascular bundles are radial and the development of xylem is exarch. Dicotyledon roots contain up to six vascular bundles but in monocotyledons there are more than six. The parenchyma present between xylem and phloem is called connective tissue.
