Parliamentary system of the government has evolved in Great Britain. In this system distinction is made between the nominal executive - Queen of England and the real executive the Council of Ministers, headed by the Prime Minister. The real executivethe Council of Minister is an integral part of the lagislature-the British Parliament. The leader of the majority party forms the Council of Ministers. The Council of Ministers remain in the office as long as it enjoys the support of the majority. It can be voted out by the elected house (House of Commons) by passing the vote of no-confidence.
India has adopted the British parliamentary system of government.
