Question
Explain the working of human heart.

Answer

The human heart pumps blood in a double circulation system. The right side of the heart receives deoxygenated blood from the body through the vena cava and pumps it to the lungs via the pulmonary artery for oxygenation. The left side of the heart receives oxygenated blood from the lungs through the pulmonary veins and pumps it to the entire body through the aorta. The heart valves ensure one-way flow of blood, preventing backflow.
