Question
Explain, why temperature in hot summer, falls sharply after a sharp shower?

Answer

Water has the highest specific heat capacity of $4.2 Jg^{-1}^\circ C^{-1}.$ Thus, when there is a sharp shower, the water evaporates. In doing so, it absorbs a large amount of heat from surroundings, hence temperature falls sharply.
