Explain why using tobacco in any form is injurious to health.

Consumption of tobacco is injurious to health in the following ways
  1. It can cause cancer of lungs, throat, urinary bladder and of oral cavity.
  2. Emphysema, bronchitis and coronary heart diseases can be caused.
  3. Gastric ulcer can occur.
  4. Smoking tobacco increases carbon monoxide levels in the blood, which leads to the oxygen deficiency in body.
