Answer

We know that$\text{S}-\bar{\text{S}}+\text{sY (MPS = s)}$
We also know that $-\bar{\text{S}}$ is the negative expression of $\bar{\text{C}}.$ Substituting the values, we get, S = -200 + 0.4(1,000) = -200 + 100 = 200
