12 and -8

12 and -8
Let A be the arithem atic mean of 12 and -8
Then,
12, A, -8 are in A.P
$\Rightarrow\text{A}-12=-8-\text{A}$
$\Rightarrow\text{A}=\frac{12+(-8)}{2}=2$
$\therefore\text{A.M is 2}$
