Question
Find the $C.P.$ when: $S.P. = Rs. 924,$ gain $= 10\%$

Answer

$S.P. = Rs. 924$
Gain$\% = 10\%$
$\therefore\text{C.P.}=\frac{\text{S.P.}\times100}{100+\text{gain%}}$
$=\text{Rs. }\frac{924\times100}{100+10}$
$=\text{Rs. }\frac{924\times100}{110}$
$=\text{Rs. }840$
