Find the logarithm of : $0.1$ to the base $10$

Answer

$ \text { Let } \log _{10} 0.1={x}$
$ \therefore 10^{x}=0.1$
$ \Rightarrow 10^{x}=\frac{1}{10}$
$ \Rightarrow 10^{x}=10^{-1}$
$ \Rightarrow x=-1 \ldots \ldots .\left[\text { If } a^m=a^n \text {; then } m=n\right]$
$ \therefore \log _{10} 0.1=-1$
