Question
Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose area is $600 cm^2$ and breadth is 25 cm .
✓
Answer
Here, the length of the rectangle $=\frac{600}{25}$
$=24 cm$
So, the perimeter of the rectangle $=2(25+24)$
$=2 \times 49$
$=98 cm$
(15) Fing the area of a square whose diagonal is $5 \sqrt{2} cm$
We, know,
Area of a square $=\left\{\frac{1}{2} \times(\text { diagonal })^2\right\}$
$\therefore$ Area $=\left\{\frac{1}{2} \times(5 \sqrt{2})^2\right\}$
$=\frac{1}{2} \times 50$
$25 cm^2$
