We know that S.P. = M.P. - Discount

$\text{Discount}=\frac{\text{Discount%}\times\text{M.P.}}{100}$
$=\frac{10\times1300}{100}$
So, S.P. $=\text{Rs.}\bigg[1300-\Big(\frac{10}{100}\times1300\Big)\bigg]$
= 1300 - 130
= Rs. 1170
$\text{Discount%}=\frac{\text{Discount}}{\text{M.P.}}\times100$
$\text{Discount}=\frac{\text{Discount%}\times\text{M.P.}}{100}$
$=\frac{10\times1300}{100}$
So, S.P. $=\text{Rs.}\bigg[1300-\Big(\frac{10}{100}\times1300\Big)\bigg]$
= 1300 - 130
= Rs. 1170
