Find the value of using the column method:
$(35)^2$

Given number $35=30+5$
Here,
$a =30$ and $b =5$

$a ^2$	$2ab$	$b^2$
$(30)^2=900$	$2 × 30 × 5 = 300$	$(5)^2=25$

$\therefore(35)^2=(900+300+25)=1225$
