For an isolated system $\Delta U=0$, what will be $\Delta S$ ?

Answer

For isolated system having $\Delta U =0, \Delta S>0$. Hence reaction will be spontaneous. Example : Formation of mixture of gases, $\Delta U =0$ but $\Delta S >0$ (+ve) because when mixture of gas is formed entropy increases.
