The preventive measure should be taken before storage of grains are:
  • The grains must be dried in sun for days to remove the moisture present in the grains. It is done because where moisture is there grains have a chance of being affected by microbes.
  • The grains should be kept along with neem leaves while storage to prevent the affect of microbes.
  • The grains should be sprayed with pesticides and fungicides to prevent the affect of pests and fungi.
