Fresh milk has a pH of 6. When it changes into curd (yoghurt) will its pH value increase or decrease? Why?

The pH decreases as milk changes into curd. This is because of the formation of lactic acid which as the name suggests is acidic in nature, curd is of the range 4.5 - 5.5
