The state government appoints ‘Chief Officer’ to administer the Municipality. Various committees are formed from the elected members to administer the municipality. Among them, the Executive committee, the Finance committee, the Health and Hygiene committee, the Construction committee, etc. are the main committees. Besides these, other committees are also formed as per the requirement.
