A sugar solution is a mixture because sugar can be separated from water by crystallization. Crystallisation is a separation technique that is used to separate a solid that has dissolved in a liquid. To obtain pure sugar from sugar solution, First distil the solution to separate the solvent i.e .water and then ,Heat the pure solution until water evaporates and the residue sugar is left.
