In this method, investigator collects information from respondents over telephone. He collects telephonic data of his respondents and calls them for getting information.
In this method, questionnaires are sent to respondents through post or e-mail and he is requested to fill it and revert back. In this method, investigator does not go to respondents personally but sends questionnaire via post or e-mail. A covering letter is also sent which explains the purpose of collecting information and surety that information will be kept confidential.
