$\text{n(A}\cup\text{B)}=\text{n(A) + n(B) - n(A}\cap\text{B)}$
$\text{n(A}\cap\text{B)}=\text{n(A) + n(B) - n(A}\cup\text{B)}$
$=20+25-40$
$=5.$
