$ = \pm 24 \sqrt{2} .$
$=\left(a+\frac{1}{a}\right)\left(a-\frac{1}{a}\right) $
$ =(6)( \pm 4 \sqrt{2})$
$ = \pm 24 \sqrt{2} .$
