$\Rightarrow\frac{\text{dx}}{\text{d}\theta}=3\text{a}\cos^2\theta\frac{\text{d}}{\text{d}\theta}(\cos\theta)$
$\Rightarrow\frac{\text{dx}}{\text{d}\theta}=-3\text{a}\cos^2\theta\sin\theta\ .....(\text{i})$
And,
