Let the commom ratio be $x$
So angles are $2x$ and $7x$ respectively
$2x + 7x = 180^\circ$
$9x = 180^\circ$
$\text{x}=\frac{180^\circ}{9}=20^\circ$
$2x = 2 \times 40^\circ = 40^\circ$
$7x = 7 \times 20^\circ = 140^\circ$
