In the following case, net force acting is zero? Also, identify the direction of force when.
A person pushes a door to hold it shut.

The net force is zero as when the person applies a force to keep the door shut the door also applies the exact same amount of force on the person in an opposite direction and hence they both cancel each other out and hence the net force becomes zero.
