In the given figure, if AB = AC, prove that BE = CE.

Answer

We know that tengent drawn from an external point to the circle are equal.
BE = BD
CE = CF
AD = AF
Given AB = AC
⇒ AD + BD = AF + CF
⇒ AF + BE = AF + CE
⇒ BE = CE
Hence proved.
