$=(5\times100)=500$
Hence, maximum marks $= 500$
$36\%$ of $x = 180$
$\Rightarrow\Big(\frac{36}{100}\times\text{x}\Big)=180$
$\Rightarrow\Big(\frac{180\times100}{36}\Big)$
$=(5\times100)=500$
Hence, maximum marks $= 500$
