Question
'Pollution in Our Cities'

Answer

Living in cities is turning out to be a nightmare - cities are becoming concrete jungles - unplanned construction of roads, buildings, flyovers, bridges - growth in vehicular traffic as people have more disposable income to buy their own vehicles - reckless cutting down of trees - smoke from industries - unorganized disposal of garbage - all this has caused irreversible damage to human lives - air pollutants make breathing difficult - many people suffer from lung ailments-we also pollute the water-poor waste and sewage disposal system - water gets contaminated-we also pollute the environment with excessive sound- unnecessary honking by motorists. We need to curb the causes of increasing pollutants - the next generations look upon us to give them a pollution-free environment to live in-grow more trees/ every industry should adopt green belts-follow organized garbage collection and disposal system - Stop the usage of plastic as it damages the environment the most do not cut trees for unplanned urbanization. A lot of awareness needs to build up globally on the subject so that we all live in a healthy and a clean environment.
