Body: At present. the education system has gone very hi-tech-very tough competition-variety of changes in teaching and learning methods in India-use of computers, internet. sophisticated class, variety of institutes and enormous amount of facilities-still more focus is on theory and less on practice of rote learning is wide spread-education is now more of burden and less of fun-only bookish knowledge improper assessment system leads to unfair results.
Conclusion: Dr Kalam's vision is to make India an advanced country and a technological giant by 2020-for this education should be made more of practical-better insti tutional facilities. facilities to teachers, etc. should be provided.
