$(x-2)$ is a factor of $2x^3- 7x -2$
$x - 2 = 0 \Rightarrow x = 2$
Substituting this value, we get
$f\{2)=2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2-7 \times 2-2=0$
Hence $(x-2)$ is a factor of $2 \times 3-7 x-2$
$x - 2 = 0 \Rightarrow x = 2$
Substituting this value, we get
$f\{2)=2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2-7 \times 2-2=0$
Hence $(x-2)$ is a factor of $2 \times 3-7 x-2$
