The bow of cupid is made of flowers. Cupid has five bows made of five different flowers. Cupid is called as - कन्दर्पः, अनङ्गः, पञ्चशरः, पञ्चबाणः, आत्मयोतिः also Cupid has five arrows like - (1) Unmad - The person attacked by this arrow devlopes insanity. (2) Tapan - The person attacked by this arrow starts developing heat in his body, (3) Shoshan This arrow makes a person dry. -(4) Stambhan - Due to the attack of this arrow, a person becomes motionless. (5) Sammohan - The attack of this arrow brings a person under the influence of fascination. Cupid attracts Lord Shiva towards Parvati with the arrow called Sammohan. Arvind, Ashoka, Mango tree, Navmallika and Nilotpala are also cupid's arrows
