The word secretary is derived from Latin word ‘Secretarious’. In that ‘secret’ means ‘confidential’ and ‘secretarious’ means the one who keeps secrets. Thus, secretary is such a person who keeps secret details and whenever requires he observes correspondance and provide necessary information moreover he does correspondance on behalf of his master and keeps personal secrets. He is not supposed to reveal his master’s secret to others. Thus, secretary is identified as a person who keeps secrets.
